What a story. Well written and a real page turner. Liked the heroes (Marcus and Dominic) . They were at times funny , couldn't control their urges but somehow hung in there. A lot of erotic scenes that at some point it seemed to be the main focus.I just couldn't take Keisha. There was just something about her that made it difficult to like or feel sorry for her. She made the proverbial bed and dragged Dominic. I don't think she deserved him especially after that wonderful "birthday gift". She really deserved 'Chelle. Anyway poor Dominic was sprung.

This book picked off where Buried Secrets left off, without missing a beat!! I loved the fact that book gave you a better insight on all the characters and that book was able to go deeper then the first; I didn't think it was possible. Some sequels are hard to keep up with the first, but this one kept up with & topped the first!! I didn't think it was possible to surpass the sex scene between Leesha & Marcus, but Keisha & Dom's did -) talk about every man's dream LoL like the first book, it was well written, it didn't have too many errors, and it had a deep & connecting storyline. I apprecitaed that SK kept the pace while adding to it. If you haven't read the first book, it's a must! You won't be completely lost because this book was a book all on it's own, but you'll definitely need the first to get past the first few chapters.
In my opinion, this book was ten times better than the first. Although it started out slow and boring as hell, it picked up once the story focused on Keisha and Dom's relationship. I for one, could care less about Aleesha and Marcus. I would be happy if we never heard about them again. I mean, what is their purpose in this series? All they do is have sex and they really don't bring anything else to this storyline. Keisha and Dom were made for each other. Keisha, the little hot head who wears her emotions on her sleeve and Dom, calm and cool but once you've pissed him off, it might be a done deal for that person. Glad to be introduced to Angel. Anxious to read his story. From the looks of things, he seems real hardcore. This series is getting better and better.
I happened up on Buried Secrets looking for something to read and it was awesome, then happened up on Twisted Obsessions and DAMN! it was awesome too. I am a fan for life. I loved the die-hard friendship that these 6 characters have for each other, there was a defintie subtle message in the writing. Keisha and Dominick- OMG they were definitely a different type of couple, and individuals too so the story worked really well for them. I didn't understand the "gangsta" these gentlemen had in them, SK made it very clear that you can't underestimate anyone, because you don't "know who they know". I enjoyed tying up the loose ends with Aleesha and Marcus, Darrell and Jerra, but Keisha and Dominick were the hottest of them all. This story was like the perfect recipe, it has a main ingredient which was love, and the perfect amnounts of intrigue, drama, and sex. Can't wait till the next installment. SK is definitely on my radar now. Great read!
This whole series left me wanting more. I read the series in a week and I already miss the characters, it's so good it vCard should be a series on tv. The women, are realistic where you can just see yourself as one of them. The men well they are very very beautiful men, not the kind you can just walk outside on any given day, but the way the men , are described you might want to go to the best male strip club you can find..they are that fine. SK had the most vivid description that I can just see the faces. It has love, hate, envy and anything else you can think of... Enjoy the series, you would hate to put it down.
Where do I begin???? The way this book started I thought this one was going to be about Jerra and her little secret. Boy oh boy was I wrong. I love how this Author always takes you on a ride. Who would have thought that Marcus was going to get caught up with that nonsense with Paula and that other fake ass doctor? I wanted Marcus to kill that hooker. I loved Keisha's character in Buried Secrets and I wanted to read more about her. I guess SK heard my thoughts and answered them. Keisha was a real firecracker and it was nice to see her vulnerable side and get her into a commited relationship. I loved the relationship between Dom & Keisha even though both of them kept up some real live drama. I was so glad Aleesha finally got her act together too and did right by Marcus. I really like Dominick's story and his brother Angel really had me intrigued. I wish we could have read how painful Rochelle's demise was. That huzzy was really TWISTED. Author Sk knows how to stimulate you. This was an excellent book and the way it ended has me thinking we might get to read about our favorite characters again. Maybe even see if Jerra's little secret will stir up some more drama. Great job SK...you penned another CERTIFIED BANGER!!!!
Book 2 continues with the same Vegas gang which the inclusion of Dominick who is Marcus and Darrell's good friend.
Marcus and Aleesha began to have problems as Aleesha is afraid to move to Vegas. Marcus seemed to be very patient with Aleesha but he is a man, hence another woman comes into the picture.
Darrell and Jerra, who are now happily married,are settling into their son to be roles of parents.
Keisha, Aleesha and Jerra's bisexual friend, begans to toy with having a relationship with Dominick who is a divorced dad of a little girl. After his divorce, Dominick is swearing off any type of commitment relationships. He would rather sex them and move on. That is until Keisha pops into his life. She feels the same way but love has no rules. They find themselves in each other's bed and heart but Keisha's ex-girlfriend, Rochelle has another plan in mind. She refuses to let go of the prior relationship she had with Kiesha.
The past meets up with them in Vegas and it is a force to be reckoning with. Will Keisha and Dominick survive Rochelle's wrath? Will Rochelle finally be able to let Keisha go? One click to find out.
